We had fun meeting and talking again with top bluegrass band, The Bankesters. We’re also glad to announce that we have two new booking agents, Marcy McDonald and Tammy Johnson. Marcy and Tammy know how to help you have fun events and successful shows! The Americana and bluegrass group, the Bankesters were in Knoxville in May and performed live on the “Blue Plate Special” hosted by WDVX radio.
Later, the Bankesters performed their acoustic bluegrass show at the BBQ and Bluegrass 
Festival in Sevierville, TN. The Bankesters hail from Carbondale, IL and they told us they have a new album coming out soon.
Emily (second from left in top photo) plays the fiddle and claw hammer banjo in the Bankesters, and she sings background and lead vocals. She won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Award for Vocalist of the Year in 2012. She’s also married to an awesome country musician and singer we’ve booked several times, Mo Pitney.
