Kathleen Madigan gives her audience a blend of topical humor, observational and cultural material, and personal comedy. Most would describe her style as non-controversial and just plain funny. Whether she’s joking about recent news topics or sharing a humorous anecdote about her family or personal life, she always connects with her audience for laughs.
Kathleen Madigan won “Funniest Female Stand-Up Comic” at the American Comedy Awards in 1996. She has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” 14 times and has also performed on “The Late Late Show” and “Comedy Central Presents.” Madigan was a finalist on the second season of “Last Comic Standing” in 2004 and she has starred in two HBO comedy specials and three Comedy Central specials.
She often performs with her friend and popular comedian Lewis Black. Kathleen has four comedy CDs, three DVDs, and has made many, many TV appearances. Madigan still tours and does hundreds of shows throughout the U.S. every year.
In 2008 and 2010, Kathleen Madigan joined other top comedians for USO Tours of Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain American soldiers. She is also host of the radio program, “Blue Collar Comedy,” on Sirius XM Radio.
