GUY PENROD Performance a Huge Success!

This concert event was at a 2,000 seat church and Guy had his full band with him. The client was very pleased with the show and Guy helped raise funds for the church.
Guy started out singing the old hymns with the lyrics printed on screen so everyone could sing along and they did. Singing favorite Gospel songs such as The Old Rugged Cross, What A Friend We Have In Jesus, Leaning On The Everlasting Arms, and Rock of Ages, Guy was described by one fan as ‘absolutely fantastic’. On the last song of the first half of the show, the 150 member church choir joined him, much to the delight of the audience.
For the second half of the 90 minute show, Guy Penrod and his band performed contemporary Gospel and Christian songs. Guy also sang his hit country music songs.
As a Christian, Guy spoke with the audience in between songs, in a very positive way as he shared brief humorous and uplifting anecdotes about his family, life, and faith.
Guy Penrod spent 14 years as the lead singer of the Gaither Vocal Band before launching a successful solo ministry with combined career sales now in excess of four million units. One of the most in-demand touring artists in Christian music and a vocal powerhouse, Guy Penrod travels throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has performed all over the world including Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, Billy Graham Crusades, and the White House.
Known for his country music styling, Penrod’s music has been applauded in the gospel as well as country formats. 
He has appeared on “The Grand Ole Opry” and on numerous country music recordings with well known country singers.
Guy Penrod has earned both Grammy and Dove Awards for his music, he has been inducted alongside the Gaither Vocal Band into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and he continues to tour the United States. Guy’s latest single is “Are You the One?” from his Breathe Deep album.
