Country Musician Darryl Worley Helps Fundraising Event Succeed!

A to Z Entertainment booked and produced another successful fundraising event with country music singer Darryl Worley performing for an American Cancer Society (ACS) Benefit. Darryl Worley was very professional and supportive in helping the client achieve their goal of raising money for cancer treatment and research.
(Philanthropic himself, The Darryl Worley Foundation, Inc. has, for over nine years, provided assistance to numerous organizations and individuals in need. This shows that the 6’6″ Tennessee native has a giant heart to match his giant stature.)
It was a hot outdoor event on a working Texas cattle ranch, complete with barns, fences, wild turkeys, dust, and of course, cattle. Worley and his band enthusiastically performed a full hour and a half show playing many songs from his six albums including his number one hits, “Miss My Friend“, “Awful Beautiful Life“, and “Have You Forgotten“.
The “private invitation” crowd of 1,500 fans had a wonderful time two-stepping to the tunes in their cowboy boots. A young benefactor in the audience called out to Darryl, “Play Miss My Friend again and I’ll donate another $1,000.00 to the American Cancer Society.” Darryl replied, “I’ll play it all night long if you keep donating!”
After the concert, Worley and his band stayed for over an hour for the “meet and greet”, cheerfully signing autographs, posing for photos, shaking hands, and talking with the fans. Darryl even donated a guitar for the “live auction” after the concert raising another $2,500.00 for the ACS. The friendly and down-to-earth Worley gladly autographed the guitar for the winning bidder.
Darryl Worley definitely charmed and pleased the audience and helped the American Cancer Society reach its fundraising goal. It was a great show for a great cause and a good time was had by all!

How far in advance must we book for a band?
Hi Mark, It depends on what kind of event you are having. If it’s private and the artist is open anytime. If it’s public and you need to sell tickets, I suggest at least 6 months to a year. This will give you plenty of time to get your sponsors, VIPS and advertising in order. Any other questions, just give us a call at 888-655-4575.
