All magician Becky Blaney ever wanted to do was to be an entertainer. Her first magic show was at age three with the help of her Dad, Hall of Fame Magician – Zaney Blaney.
“To get on stage I entered every talent contest I could. I was the first female magician to win the International Brotherhood of Magicians contest. I was lucky enough to receive a full scholarship to college for being a Twirler. As part of the band, I was required to play an instrument, so I chose the triangle.”
After college, Becky Blaney tried her luck in L. A. Her first job was as a tap-dancing bumble bee, doing singing telegrams. To make up for her voice she had to be funny. Becky Blaney took her stand up comedy and magic tricks into the comedy clubs. That began her long journey as a road magician – comedian.
