When he was 16 years old, his high school guidance counselor asked him what he wanted to do for a career. Fred looked him right in the eye and said “I want to be a magician” to which the counselor replied “Well… good luck with that!”
Fred originally came from… his mother! He grew up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Terminal Tower, Lake Erie, and the Cuyahoga river that once caught fire, seriously!
Seeking warmer climates and better performing opportunities Fred Moore decided to skip ahead to the mandated “move to Florida when you get old” clause and packed his bags for the Sunshine State!
But home was where he left his hat as Fred started to travel and perform in exotic countries like: Singapore, Japan and… Canada. Traveling and performing became the norm for him: the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Cruise ships, tours of Europe and South America… basically Fred became the poster-boy for jet-lag!
It was on one of those journeys he met a beautiful ballet dancer from Romania. Where would a boy from Ohio and a girl from Romania meet? Japan of course! While working in a show together these two did what most couples do when they meet: took long walks, talked and got to know each other on a personal level. (What were you thinking?) Fifteen years later they’re still happily married and the parents of two young girls- which is one of the reasons Fred is bald!
With over twenty years of experience, performing for corporate conferences and meetings has become Fred Moore’s forte. Fred gives much needed “brain breaks” during general sessions, opens meetings, gets participants focused and engaged, and provides an after dinner show for a night’s event.
