Dr. Sandra Tibbs is an accomplished leader, corporate trainer, speaker and executive coach who has worked with leaders in corporate, non-profits and small business. Combining her extensive experience in military intelligence training with an understanding of neuroleadership and organizational leadership, Sandra provides her clients with the tools they need to become the most effective leaders they can be. She makes every speaking event and training session interactive and shares unique and relevant stories with her audience. Born in Peru, Sandra immigrated to the United States when she was 17 years old. Fluent in Spanish and English, she can deliver training programs in either language.
Sandra has over 14 years of leadership experience, to include leading at different levels of an organization. Her experiences include leading more than 800 military and civilian employees, holding two leadership positions simultaneously and being part of the executive team, while serving as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force (USAF) supporting National Agencies.
As an executive coach, she helps her clients turn any challenge they might be facing into an opportunity. Sandra brings her coaching skills to every training session and speaking event, helping leaders move past any blockages they might be currently facing. Her impassioned approach to helping organizations and individuals succeed is unparalleled. Audiences and clients describe her as emotionally intelligent and deeply impactful. Dr. Sandra Tibbs is the former group leader for the Neuroleadership Institute Special Interest Group in San Antonio, Texas, where leaders discussed research in the neuroscience field that applies to effective leadership. She is a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPECP) and is a member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF), holding the credentials of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
Sandra Tibbs has also been featured on NBC Latino and asked for her expert opinion by Latina Magazine for the article, Is your culture holding you back? in the June/July 2013 issue. She was also interviewed by Vista Magazine for the article Leadership from the Inside Out for their October 2014 issue. She has also been a guest on several radio shows and is a contributor author to Graduate Leadership: A review of the Science of Leadership by Mark Green, Ph.D and Evidence of Leadership by Mark Green, PhD.
After obtaining a B.S. in Biology, Sandra earned an M.S. in Organizational Leadership, and her PhD in Leadership Studies.
