Trina Jeffrie is known as a funny clean comedian throughout the world. For the past 30 years Trina, along with her fictional character, Sister Cantaloupe, has been known as the Queen of Gospel Comedy in the Christian community. Trina also has over 30 years experience of performing comedy at corporate events, casinos, cruises Lines, award shows, conventions, trade shows, holiday parties, celebrity birthday parties, community functions, theatrical plays, movie appearances and more! Trina is a native of Dallas, TX and lives there part-time and she also lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Trina’s supportive fans stretch across the U.S.A. and into international venues in Germany, London, Japan, Jamaica, the Bahamas and more. She is 
the pioneer of Christian and Gospel comedy but prefers to be known as the “The Most Inspirational Clean Comedian.”
Trina Jeffrie started her form of comedy back in 1986 and it has definitely been rewarding for her over the years. Trina currently serves as a co-host on a syndicate radio station in Dallas, TX with Willie Mae McIver on, “Beyond The Praise” which has over 6 million listeners.
In November 2016 Trina Jeffrie received the distinguished, “Lifetime Achievement Award” from President Barack Obama. This very humble woman has won over 50 highly sought-after awards in her 30-year career. Trina has been awarded Best New Comedy Artist and Best Comedians Video. She was the winner of the AMG 2014 Awards for “Comedian of the Year”. Trina even received an NAACP Award in (1995) and was recently Nominated for the “Rhythm of Gospel Award” in 2017 for “Comedian of the Year.”
In October 2016, Trina Jeffrie received the Legacy Award from Church Stars for blazing the trail and being a pioneer in clean comedy. Trina’s name is placed in the Gospel Encyclopedia and on Wikipedia. Lastly, Sister Cantaloupe, has four award winning hit DVD & CD’s, which were recorded live. They are, “Go Cantaloupe Go” -1996, “Laffing Out Loud with the Lord” -1998, “Un-Be-Weave-able” -2002, “Dr. Bobby Jones All Star Comedy” (released on Lions Gate) –2004 and “Armed and Dangerous” –2006. Traveling full-time performing as a headliner, Trina has sold out shows from the East Coast to the West Coast. She has also toured and appeared with most of the top names in the Gospel, R&B, and Comedy industry. She has worked with artists such as Kirk Franklin, Gary Oliver, Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Ricky Smiley, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, The Winans, Jennifer Holiday, Dr. Bobby Jones, Pebo Bryson, Aretha Franklin, Stephanie Mills, Brandy, Stevie Wonder, and R. She has appeared on numerous television and radio shows including “The Tavis Smiley Show”, “ BET-Dr. Bobby Jones Show”, “The Jenny Jones Show” and others. Trina has also been featured in magazines such as Sister 2 Sister, Gospel Flavor, Gospel Today and more.
Trina has also been involved in multiple motion pictures and television shows. Trina’s versatility has allowed her to write movies, plays, and live
