The Worship Collective is a group of church music leaders hailing from multiple states and different church congregations, but united by a shared heart and mission to serve the body of Christ. While the band has shared stages with renowned Christian artists like Anne Wilson and We Are Messengers, the group understands and sees the need of churches who don’t have unlimited budgets, yet still desire to create high-quality musical experiences and opportunities for Christian concert and worship events. The initiative was spearheaded by front vocalist and worship leader Nick Joyce, as an answer to that need.
Nick’s professional journey in Christian music began in the mid-2000’s, in an emerging and thriving era of the Contemporary Christian Music industry. He founded the band “Our Heart’s Hero” which subsequently signed a record deal with Christian Artist and CCM pioneer TobyMac, through his label Gotee Records/Warner Brothers. Nick spent more than a decade professionally touring both nationally and internationally. His band appeared with influential artists such as Phil Wickham, Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Skillet, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp, RED, Sidewalk Prophets, Leeland, Sanctus Real, Pillar, Stellar Kart, among many others.
Beyond touring, Nick also delved into producing, recording, and publishing. He is credited with multiple Billboard Charting Christian Radio singles, as well as garnering publishing credits in TV and film. His work spans various platforms, such as Southern Gospel radio charts, and Hal Leonard sheet music books, to having his work featured on NBC’s The Voice, VeggieTales, The CW Television shows.
